Diálogos. Study these sentences paying attention to the grammar (gustar + noun phrase; pasar tiempo + gerund). Pay attention to how the verb ‘divertirse’ works in similar fashion to ‘gustar’.

Ejemplo 1. A Mario no le gustan las carreras de caballo.

Ejemplo 2. Cristian pasa tiempo navegando internet.

Ejemplo 3. A Nestor le divierte ir al circo.

Now look for a partner in your class and ask about their likes and dislikes:

1. ¿A ti te divierten las carreras de caballo?
2. ¿Pasas tiempo navegando en internet?

After you have enough information, write a description of how your classmate uses his/her freetime.
